Polaqua 103-L is an extrusion, lamination and printing primer for use on many grades of polypropylene and other films. It exhibits grease, oil and moisture resistant bonds strengths with onky minute applicaion levels. Application is proportionate to one gallon of Polaqua 103-L for approximately 20 reams (60,000 Ft²) of substrate.

Polaqua 103-L is applied to the film surface and dried. For best results, especially with certain grades of polypropylene, it is recommended to have the acccepting surface corona treated. The extrudate, lamination or printing inks will then rigorously bond to the primed surface by heat and pressure application.

Room temperature 50 Deg F and up.
Solution temperature 33 Deg to 170 Deg F.
Pick-Up Roller - Smooth or Gravue 200 line and up.
Squeeze Roller - Hard Rubber 80 to 90 durometer.
Accepting surface should be corona treated for best results.
Primed surface must be thoroughly and absoluetly dry before web is introduced to lamination, extrusion or printing.

Polaqua 103-L as with all Polaqua systems is water-based and formulated from ingredients found on FDA lists cleared for food packaging.
