NOPCOTE
DC-100 is an ammonium stearate dispersion widely used because of its
ease of application and versatility. A highly fluid liquid, it is readily
incorporated into the coating formula wdh~ predispersion. NOPCOTE DC-100
A lubricates the coating, improves its levelling characteristics and
minimises dusting.
NOPCOTE
DC-100 A also enhances the water repellency, smoothness and printability
of coatings in which it is employed. It lubricates the dry coating thereby
reducing dusting at the calender stacks and during printing. NOPCOTE
DC-100 A increases the thixotropic properties of coatings and improves
the water-holding properties of the coating in the wet state. |

APPLICATION
NOPCOTE DC-100 A is recommended for use in starch, starch - latex
or protein - latex coatings. Generally, 2 - 5% addition as received based
on the total coating solids will improve coating application to optimum
levels. |

PACKAGING,
STORAGE AND HANDLING
NOPCOTE
DC-100 A is shipped in 180 kg steel drums. Store at moderate temperatures.
If only part of the contents of a container is used, close container tightly
to protect remainder from surface dehydration.
